He Finally Lost It!

{if you look closely, you can see the new tooth had already made it's way in BEHIND the old tooth}

After weeks of playing with his loose tooth, it finally fell out.  I was working and I got a random text message from Nick that said "I tried to wait, but he pulled it out"...I was totally confused as to what exactly he meant by that, not thinking of Ethan's tooth!  I got home and Nick said it was so loose it would lay sideways.  So Ethan just pulled it out!  He was so excited for the tooth fairy to come!

Sam is our teenage sleeper {already}  He loves to sleep.  Most days he sleeps in well past 8:00, while his older brother wakes up between 6:00 and 7:00.  Sam will even take 4 hour naps!  Sometimes I have to go wake him up because it's dinner time! I got some cute pictures of him snoring one day when I went to wake him up from nap time:

"Mommy why are you taking pictures of me?!"

7 Months!!

It's hard to believe G is 7 months old already.  For those who are interested, he weighs 21 lbs 6 oz. {wowza} and is about 27.5 inches tall.  And that was actually at his 6 month check, so I am sure he is bigger now.  He is starting to babble, and says lots of "Dadadada"...go figure.  I think all the boys said Dada first.  I'm blaming it on it;s an easy word to say. :)  And yes, he still loves to suck his thumb.

G loves to roll around on the floor.  He can go anywhere he wants to just by rolling there!  He is almost sitting up.  He will sit up just fine if you sit behind him, and he won't even lean on you, but once you put him up alone, he tips right over! He is starting to move his hips upward and get into the crawling position...sometimes he will even do a quick rock or two!!  I am SO not ready for him to be mobile.  I will get nothing done!!!  I will always be worrying if the boys closed the gate up etc...can't wait! ;)

He is still not too interested in baby food, but over the the past few days he has done really well with pears!  Gobbled them up last night!  He has tried oatmeal, rice cereal, bananas, carrots, peas, sweet potato's, pears, and apples.  Out of all that he only really likes pears, and will tolerate peas and sweet potato's!  And he's really good at drinking Mama Milk! :)

G is not the best sleeper, but are any of our kiddos?  He does like to nap, but only in his swing.  I'm scares of what will happen when he gets too big for it.  It's already squeaking because of his weight...we are going to have some rough days when he does get too big for it.  We need to get some sort of noise maker for his nursery once he goes to the crib...any suggestions on that {the noise maker...or going into the crib}   He dislikes his crib so much, only in the morning does he like it.  He can be sound asleep in my arms, and as soon as I put him in it, he is awake and crying!

He LOVES to cuddle {spooning especially} I just love that!  Mommy and Daddy love your so much G!! xoxo

Easter Afternoon!!

We spent our Easter afternoon over at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  We enjoyed a yummy Easter dinner and the company of Nick's brother and his family.  Ethan loves having someone a little older than him to play with!

Ethan went to the firehokuse recently, so he was showing us what to do if your body catches on fire..1st: scream, 2nd: stop, drop and roll!

New Ride!!

I can't believe Samuel got a new BMW before I did!  Thanks Grandma and Opa!! :)  We love you!!  Now if only I could convince them to get me one too! :)  kidding of course...well kind of.

Anyways Sam loved it!  He was even popping wheelies on it!

6 Months Old!!

Griffin is 6 months old already.  Time flies!  He has 2 teeth now, and is ALMOST sitting up...he wants to SO bad but can't quite do it on his own.  He is really hands on and loves playing with toys. 

He is now realizing when you've left the room and begins to cry!!  Makes it quite challenging to get things done while he is awake, as he always wants to be played with!

Still no solids yet.  We have only had luck with sweet potatoes and only twice.  All the other times he gagged on the food and made the most aweful faces!!  He really LOVES to watch his big brothers play!  And is always smiling at them.  :)

Griffin is still not a very good sleeper.  He still requires you to go to bed with him, or he wakes up crying.  But I'm ok with that.  It won't last forever and I secretly enjoy going to bed at 8pm!!

New Things and a Giveaway!!

This little guy had lots of milestones this last week!  He got 2 teeth within 2 days {you can see them in the picture below}, he had food, real food, sweet potatoes to be exact for the first time today.  So far, so good.  I think he would have eaten the entire jar...had I let him...

a sliced tomato and a lego!  Yum! ;)

 ....and he found his toes!!

 This little guy is FINALLY feeling better!!  After about 5 weeks of being sick off and on.  I took him in to the Dr. and he says Ethan had influenza. {ick}  Thank goodness the other boys DID NOT get it.  I Lysol-ed everything everyday!!  I think it helped! :)
