Griffin's First Birthday!!!

Happy Birthday Baby Bear!  Your ONE!!
We celebrated your first birthday with your big brothers and Grandma and Grandpa.
We ate Cheese Tortellini Soup and Banana Creme Pie - which you LOVED!!!

Griffin weighs in at 26lbs!!  He is wearing mostly a 2T..I think he's slimming down a little, or maybe just growing taller.  He can still fit into some 12-18 months.
He's cruising all over the place, and loves to empty out the kitchen and bathroom cupboards!
He loves to eat, especially whatever your eating, but still really isn't satisfied until he has his jar {or two} of baby food.

about to enjoy his banana creme pie!

Happy FIRST Birthday my Baby!!

classic...kissing with a hand blocking the lips.

Coming to and End.

I can't believe days like this are coming to an end.  Makes me sad to think we will be cooped up inside the house for the next 6 months.  Gosh...thats like spring, summer AND fall combined!!  The boys are going to be crazy wild by Jan....I can't wait.

this kid LOVES to dig.  He would dig up the entire yard if I would let him.  Nick will take him to work and let him drive the backhoe.  He is obsessed with big boy toys!

That's a learning to walk ouchie.  Did a face plant on the chair leg!

Look at the rosy cheeks on those two!

My sweet little thumb sucker!

check out his curls!!

Love that sweet face!

Stuffing....Not the Thanksgiving Kind...

These two cuties were up to no good {imagine that!}......

whats all that white stuff all over the floor??  I was just as confused as you are.  Lets take a closer look....

"Mommy, it's going for a ride in the ROCKET"!!

 Yep.  Leave it to Sam.  To empty out a stuffed dog, and fill the rocket up.
Poor dog is just a hallow shell now.
At least they were having fun...and not coloring on the walls {oh wait...that's another post}

Sammie Goes to School.

We signed Sammie up for a 2/3 yr. old "pre-school" class at First Presbyterian Church.  We heard about it through Nick's friend who also has a 2yr old.  We thought since Sam knew Will and liked to play with him, it would make the transition easier of going to school..............................
boy were we wrong.

Sam was just fine, playing cars with the other kids {his little friend Will is the blondie next to him}
and then he found out that I was actually going to LEAVE him there for 2 hours.
Needless to say he flipped out.
He cried and cried.  I could actually hear him screaming from the parking lot.
Made me sick to leave him there like that.  And when I picked him up, he was fine.  Said he had a good time and wanted to go back and have fruit snacks again!  Were in the clear...right??

Not so fast.  Then Thursday came around.  When Sam caught wind of where we were going...he screamed, took his shoes off and threw them downstairs and  said "NO SCHOOL MOMMY".  I proceeded along and thought he has to do this...he just has to.  I tried to put him in his car seat, but he just wouldn't stop arching and screaming.  Finally, got him buckled!  But the whole way there he was trying to open the door, screaming "LET ME OUT".  I felt horrible.  He obviously didn't want to go.
So we let him stay home.
Maybe he's too young...hopefully he'll grow out of it!
Sorry for pressuring you sweet pea.  Mommy and Daddy love you so much!

All I want for Christmas...

{sorry for those of you grossed out...}
He's lost a top front tooth {actually it got knocked out wrestling with Daddy - don't worry it was already super loose}...the other one is wiggly, and I am sure will be out by the end of the month!
