Rollin Around.

Well, Griffin did it.  He finally rolled over a few days ago.  I thought he was too big to roll over, but he proved me wrong!! :)  My little sweetie is growing up!

 I now have business cards, and thank you cards!

 These 2 beautiful Amy Butler fabrics from the Love Collection will be used on a bag for my Mother in Law...

 A totally awesome new ruffle bag that I created!  My very first bag with no pattern or tutorial.  :) I love how girly the pink scooters and ruffles are!  Expect to see some in The Shop very soon!

4 Month Shots.

Our littlest got shots today. :(  We missed his 4 month shots and had to re-schedule.  As you might know already we had to get a new Dr. {total bummer}  Our last Dr. took a position at the hospital leaving us high and dry!!  I was pretty tore up about it.  He knew us.  His nurse was the BEST.  I am seriously going to miss her!!
So we went to our new nurse for shots this morning.  Except it was a different nurse, who doesn't work with our Dr.  I was disappointed about this too.  I wanted to talk to her about getting G on an Alternative Shot Schedule {recommended by Dr. Sears}.

Now I am all about vaccines and fully understand the importance of them.  But what I DON'T understand is WHY must we give a 4 month old so MANY at one time.  I mean he got a total of 6 vaccines today.  That's 6 viruses entering his little {but rather big} body all at once.  How horrible!!  The alternative shot schedule recommends getting 2 at a time every month to get caught up over a period of 2 years.

Does anyone else do this?  I'd love to hear feedback on this subject!!

I was so ticked at the nurse who ended up giving G his shots.  First off, we went right at his nap time {bad idea}  He fell asleep while waiting on the nurse to take her sweet a** time getting the shots.  The she barges in the room {wakes him so rudely} and tells me to lay him on the table.  Then she starts shoving the oral vaccine down his throat.  He was clearly gagging and trying to catch his breath and crying.  I immediately picked him up and told her he likes it slow.  We always give him his medicine SLOW!!!

I felt so bad for G I wanted to cry!!   What a way to wake up from a cat nap...
gagging on some nasty vaccine!

But were home now, and G seems to be handling it pretty well.  So I've got 2 sickies at home today, and E is at school!!

My Little Sickies.

Sammie is sick :(  I noticed his fever yesterday afternoon, and then while we were eating dinner he was dry-heaving!  Poor guy!!  I stayed home from work to help keep the healthy ones isolated!!  We can't have G sick!  Ethan already had it on Super Bowl Sunday.  Just ran a fever, and wasn't as active.  But felt fine in the morning.
Sam was falling asleep on the floor with Daddy around 5:50pm, so we got him in the bath and he asked to go to bed.  We knew he wasn't feeling well at all.  He only woke up once in the night and Daddy went to cuddle with him the rest of the night.  He even went to bed with no supper!!  Poor little guy!!

This morning he woke up burning up again, but nothing a little medicine couldn't take care of.  He is still a little under the weather, but not enough to stop bugging his brother!  During lunch time Sam was doing the usual food flinging and water spitting at his brother {older}...so much for keeping his germs to himself!

{more Daddy?!}

 {So tired and ready for bed at 6pm}

 {this kid hasn't taken a bath alone since he was just a little baby}

{Such a good boy, taking his medicine}

{Finally EATING this morning!!}

Handmade Valentines.

Ethan loves making things.  He loves spending time with you - alone - no other siblings!!  So we did just that while Sam and Griff were napping.  We made Valentines for his class.
The teacher required us to use numbers instead of their names for the "To:" and then wanted him to write his own name to get the practice - which you can see he needs!

 We made chocolate covered strawberry flavored marshmallows.  Then put sprinkles on top!

He got to practice cutting the numbers out with real big boy scissors!!  He has a blast, but I think he got sick of writting his name.  As we approached number 12, he sighed and said "again"?!?!?!!?  Too cute!

Rice Cereal.

Griffin tried rice cereal for the first time a few days ago.  He isn't very fond of it.  Maybe we will wait a month or so.  He makes an aweful face and spits it straight out!!

{he'd prefer to suck his thumb!}
