Happy Third Birthday Sammie!!

I can't believe your 3.  Seems like just yesterday the first words I spoke to you were "he's perfect".  You have grown into this shy and reserved little boy and still be strong willed.  You hide behind my leg when someone talks to you that you don't know, or put your hands in your mouth to hide your silly smile. You are absolutely adorable, and such a good big and little brother.  Often times I find you helping Griffin out, or sharing your toys with him when I haven't even asked you to.

You LOVE LOVE LOVE to watch Toy Story, and Ponyo.  Everytime I hear the Ponyo song, it makes me want to cuddle with you on the couch and watch it with you.  You always ask Mommy to sew {mostly because I think you enjoy my company} - and always want to help me cute fabric.  I think you mostly enjoy helping Daddy use his cool tools though!  You are literally obsessed with power tools and yard tools!! :)

Right when I think you are a Mama's boy, you prove me wrong by requesting Daddy for everything. ;)  I can't believe your Three.  I don't want you to grow up!!

How fast the last 6 years have flown!!  My little boy is six!!!  You are the best big brother I could ever ask for Sammie and Griffin.  You are SO loving and caring and gentle!  You love school and sounds like you have made some amazing friends too.  You are very strong willed and always manage to get your way...in one way or another!  You love reading and coloring and playing your games.  You are such a sweet heart!

 

You have made Mommy and Daddy so proud over the past 6 years!  We love the little boy you have become!  Happy Birthday Ethan, Mommy and Daddy LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!

Griffin's First Birthday!!!

 

Happy Birthday Baby Bear!  Your ONE!!

We celebrated your first birthday with your big brothers and Grandma and Grandpa.

We ate Cheese Tortellini Soup and Banana Creme Pie - which you LOVED!!!

     

Griffin weighs in at 26lbs!!  He is wearing mostly a 2T..I think he's slimming down a little, or maybe just growing taller.  He can still fit into some 12-18 months.

He's cruising all over the place, and loves to empty out the kitchen and bathroom cupboards!

He loves to eat, especially whatever your eating, but still really isn't satisfied until he has his jar {or two} of baby food.

Happy 2nd Birthday S!!!

Happy 2nd Birthday my "baby bear"!  I can't believe he is 2 already.  I am so sad he is growing up so fast!!  And now he's a big brother too!!

We celebrated his birthday today with Grandma and Grandpa, and a delicious ice cream sandwhich and oreo cake!  The boys loved it, and loved all the new toys they have!

Happy 5th Brithday E!!!

I can hardly believe that 5 years ago, this morning at 4:55 am, weighing only 6lbs. 13oz. our biggest little guy was born!!  He was just a little peanut!  Oh how things have changed!  He now rides in a booster chair and buckles himself in.  He is Mr. Independent!  Wants to do everything himself!  He has the most vivid imagination, and uses it all day while making "boy noises" and swirling his toys in the air pretending they are flying through space.  He LOVES to play his Nintendo DS and Wii.  In fact I let him open 1 birthday gift before bed last night {it's in his hand in the picture}, which resulted in him staying up until after 10pm playing it in bed!!

Happy Birthday Grandma Kris!!

Grandma Kris lives right across the street, so it was really easy for us to wish her a Happy Birthday!!  I decided to make something special for her this year.  I found a tutorial for a gathered clutch, and thought she would just love it!  Here's how it turned out:

It even has pockets for her debit/credit cards!  Another one to come for Grandma Debbie's Birthday!  The zipper actually wasn't too bad, that was the 1st time I had sewn a zipper.  I am pleased with how it turned out!  You should try this cute little gathered clutch for yourself!
