Sammie Goes to School.

 

We signed Sammie up for a 2/3 yr. old "pre-school" class at First Presbyterian Church.  We heard about it through Nick's friend who also has a 2yr old.  We thought since Sam knew Will and liked to play with him, it would make the transition easier of going to school..............................

boy were we wrong.

Sam was just fine, playing cars with the other kids {his little friend Will is the blondie next to him}

and then he found out that I was actually going to LEAVE him there for 2 hours.  

Needless to say he flipped out.

He cried and cried.  I could actually hear him screaming from the parking lot.

Made me sick to leave him there like that.  And when I picked him up, he was fine.  Said he had a good time and wanted to go back and have fruit snacks again!  Were in the clear...right??

 

Not so fast.  Then Thursday came around.  When Sam caught wind of where we were going...he screamed, took his shoes off and threw them downstairs and  said "NO SCHOOL MOMMY".  I proceeded along and thought he has to do this...he just has to.  I tried to put him in his car seat, but he just wouldn't stop arching and screaming.  Finally, got him buckled!  But the whole way there he was trying to open the door, screaming "LET ME OUT".  I felt horrible.  He obviously didn't want to go.  

So we let him stay home.  

Maybe he's too young...hopefully he'll grow out of it!

Sorry for pressuring you sweet pea.  Mommy and Daddy love you so much!
