5 Months Old!!

I know, it's been a while since I posted some pictures!!!  So enjoy these!! :)

All the boys have been pretty sick for the last week and a half or so.  Finally took them all to the Dr. only to find out they all have sinus infections and ear infections.  Only Sam and Griffin got antibiotics...the Dr. thought Ethan was old enough to fight it off on his own.  He ended up missing ALL WEEK of school!  Poor guy felt so sick he even took naps. {SO unlike Ethan} 

They are doing better now.  Griff got a really sore bum from the amoxicillian {gave him the runs} so now he is taking a probiotic to help with that too.  3 meds a day....when he likes taking none.  Fun times! ;)

Well we found out Griffin's weight when we took him in .... 19 lbs 10oz!!!!  He gained 2lbs. over the last MONTH.  We haven't started solids yet either.  Gave him rice cereal a couple times, only for him to end up throwing it up.  I think we might end up skipping cereal all together and go straight to food.  We'll see.

Rollin Around.

Well, Griffin did it.  He finally rolled over a few days ago.  I thought he was too big to roll over, but he proved me wrong!! :)  My little sweetie is growing up!

Rice Cereal.

Griffin tried rice cereal for the first time a few days ago.  He isn't very fond of it.  Maybe we will wait a month or so.  He makes an aweful face and spits it straight out!!

Pajama Day

Today we are having a pajama day!  I love these kinds of days.  Hanging out in our pj's....so relaxing.  No school, no work...it's the perfect kind of day!

4 Months Old!!

4 Month Check:

• Weight: 17lbs
• Height: 25 1/4 in

G is by far our hugest baby yet!  We got the green light from our new Dr. to start rice cereal.  Its definitely not a priority since he is already so big, but I think it might help his reflux, since it's getting bad again.  For the past week or so, G has been SUPER DUPER fussy.  He refuses to nurse to sleep anymore, making me feel like I have no idea how to console him.  I feel useless when he is fussy.  Super Dad/Husband actually does a better job than I do! :(  Nick has had to rock him to sleep the last 5 nights, as Griffin just screams and screams when it's me.  I feel like I am at a total loss.  Nothing seems to work to calm him down.  He basically just has to cry it out.  And if you know me, I hate that, I could never do that to my child!!

I know he is teething, I can feel the teeth bumps in hid gums...I hope those suckers pop through soon!!  He is such a good baby in the morning and once evening comes...he's out of control!! :(  I feel so bad for him!! 

I have learned NOT to hold onto any clothes because I think they might be "too big".  Several outfits I thought for sure were too big for him, are actually too small.  I could barely get his arms into one of them because his forearms are so chubby!  I don't think he was comfy in it at all.  Never wore it, and I already have to retire it!

Teething??

Maybe teething?  I am not sure.  There's lots of drooling going on around here.  Both boys had 2 teeth at 3 months...so I imagine it's coming soon.  But the weird part is...his gumd where the I teeth are, are swollen.  That would be weird to get those teeth first, no??  We'll see.  I hope they come quick!

...but you get the idea right? :)  Now you see how G and S wear the same size diapers, right?!  And now you see how my almost 4 month old can wear a size 6-12 months...and even some shirts are tight in the belly, right?!

We love our little chunker. :)

Been Busy!

I've been busy.  Sewing.  Being a Mom.  Cooking for the 3 bottom-less pits I have.  Doing anything BUT cleaning.  I need a sewing break.  Only to clean my house.  I told myself I was going to take a day off. 

And then this happened...

:)  So much for a day off huh!  Isn't it adorable?!?!  {Thanks for the order Kris!!}  And while that was happening, the sewing machine attacked my left thumb.  Literally.  Not really quite sure WHAT happened.  But my thumb got caught in the up-down motion of the needle, and it tore a big chunk of skin off...OK.  I will spare you the photo and gorey details.  But it hurts.  Like hell.  And yet I find myself back at it again today...with neosporin and a band-aid.

Bumbo!!

Griffin sat in his bumbo for the first time yesterday.  He is still a little heavy in the head for it!  Can't quite keep it up yet...but he is trying so hard to sit up these days!!
