Today starts week 12!! And Wednesday we have an ultrasound. I can't wait! Not to find out the sex or anything like that, I think it's too soon...although I will still ask! ;) It's just to make sure baby is growing and developing ok! I definetley feel pregnant, although you really still can't tell. Which is suprising since this is my 4th pregnancy!! I am still wearing my regular clothes. Some might think I have a "beer belly". I am still feeling sick. Most of the time not, but when I am it makes up for the time I wasn't!! :( I guess the baby is just over 2 inches long and weighs about 1/2 and ounce. Crazy isn't it!? I have a feeling this pregnancy will just fly by.

In 1 short month...
On Feb. 20th we had just begun work in the basement. About 1/2 the plumbing had been done and new concrete poured to cover it. Nothing beyond that had even been started. As of today 99% of the drywall is done! I can't believe it has only taken a month to finish thos huge projects! We have to hold off on the drwall on 1 wall in Sam's room because we are waiting for the ground to thaw so the gas meter can be moved outside. Which that is going to suck a little bit because then my front yard will be dug up around that area! I have been wanting to re-do the flower planter out front anyways...so I guess this is my opportunity! Now it's onto tap and texture (ick), choosing bathroom items, carpet, paint colors, trim, tile, all the fun details!!
I really like the look of the glass tile around the mirror like this...what do you think?? We have found a vanity very similar to this, I just love that you have room for baskets underneath, perfect for towels. I think this might be an option...we'll see!
Can't wait to post pics of the finished product!!!

Crazy Kid!
Got some much needed laughs tonight when I got home from work. First of all, I would like to blame the back-up of laundry on the basement project...although it doesn't seem fitting. My washer and dryer both still work just fine.
So...all of Ethan's pj's were dirty, and he had no clean "comfy" pants to wear to bed. So we were left to improvise. I remembered that I had put some of Sammie's old clothes in Ethan's closet. I grabbed one. Noticing how small it was, I thought we could stretch it a little....or a lot. Tonight Ethan is wearing a 9-12 mo. pj sleeper to bed. ;) I honeslty cannot believe he fit into it, none the less we could actually button the thing!! Yes, we need to do laundry tomorrow!! But Ethan had a blast in his cool outfit. He thought it was some sort of super hero outfit, as he's doing karate chops and head stands. He loved it. I'm glad. Because it was either that or just a tee shirt! :)
Sweet dreams my big boy buddy!! We love you!!

The Progress...
Well, it's only been about 4 weeks since the start of the basement. Nick has done a TON of work. I am so proud of him. All his days and nights when he is not at work is spent down in the basement....working away. We have the plumbing, electrical, and heating and cooling completed and all passed inspection!!! :)
Saturday is insulation and drywall. I have a feeling Nick could come very close to winning this silly little bet of his...Oh well. The sooner this is done and my house is not a TOTAL disaster anymore, the better!!

Mr. Mustache.
I let Sam expirement with the spoon all by himself for the 1st time the other day. He could have cared less about the spoon! He had more fun putting his hand in the chocolate pudding and squishing it out through his fingers!! He had a pretty good mustache going on by the time he was done! ;)

No Suprise Here.
This morning, I took an at home gender prediction test. Had never even heard of it before, until I ran into it at Walgreens and thought it would be something fun to try! It's suppossedly 89% accurate. So.....are you dying to know what it said?
Apparently were having another B-O-Y!!
I'm not at all suprised. And I think I am more willing to believe it since it says boy. If it said we were having a girl, I'd be a little leary....I totally believe that it's correct. I guess we will find out just how accurate it is in 10 more weeks!!
Has anyone ever taken this before? Or know someone who has? I'd love to hear how accurate your results were!! Please share!!

Chit-Chatting...
Yesterday I worked 12 hours. I always try to call home a few times to check on the boys. This time Sam actually chatted back! He kept saying "mama". So Nick captured this picture and e-mailed it to me at work...to help get me through the day! :)

Happy March!
Today starts the beginning of March, and week 10! This week the baby is the size of a kumquat. I don't know what that is...maybe I'll have to find out! The baby weighs less than a quarter of an ounce. Wow. That seems SO TINY! This month we get our 1st ultrasound. I guess they started doing a 1st trimester genetic screening, rather than waiting until 20 weeks. We have this on the 17th. ;)
The basement is coming along nicely as well. It's completley framed up, heating and cooling is done, and plumbing is almost done. Our beautiful cast iron tub got delivered today. Getting that down the stairs was a bit challenging to watch, but they did it! This all just seems so surreal to me. I can't believe it's actually all coming together. Now the challenge is going to be once the basement is done, getting Sam to sleep in his own room, his own bed, all night long!!
